Just announced that the team featured in the docu-drama series “The Franchise” will be none other than your 2012 Florida Miami Marlins. This will be the 2nd season of the show, which featured the 2010 World Series Champs San Francisco Giants in its first season! The new ballpark, along with the addition of several key players and a certain manager was enough for the network to choose the Fish over the other teams in contention! I have to say its going to be fun to see what happens…
Hanley Ramirez just released a video addressing all of the hate he received through social media over the past few months. You can see the video here. I just want to say, I LOVE the video. I think its perfect, because it’s not super long and he gets right to the point. The fact that he is writing people’s twitter accounts on the bat, to use as motivation is amazing! Great ad! I cant wait to see what Hanley back in action this season! I think the move to third will serve as a motivator for him, and we will again see great things from H2R!

It looks like Kendrick Perkins is still butt-hurt. He took out his ire yesterday on none other than our Miami Heat’s Lebron James! Perkins basically said LeBron was wrong in making a comment about the Griffin dunk on his twitter account (@kingjames). LeBron responded by saying “Social media and Twitter are all about communicating with your fans, I would never apologize … for communicating with my fans”.
Well said, LeBron! Perkins is acting like a child. It sucks to get posterized like that, but to crictisize someone for making a comment on it, is ridiculous. I dont remember Dwyane Wade saying anything when Taj Gibson posterized him last year (and MANY MANY MANY people commented on it). He took it like a man! Grow up, Perkins!
